Analysis of articles and magazines for research

These are screen shots of the article and magazine analysises i did on the computer, I have one more article analysis but I have written on the article itself and was unable to upload it.

Almost Complete...

I have made all the changes I wanted, and have made my main picture less blurry than it was originally. The picture is still mildly blurred but I think it looks good and makes the band constrast against the plain white background. I also think the image is very powerful and do not want to use a different one as I think it is the best image for a rock magazine cover. My final front cover is shown to the left. I have been busy working on some image manipulation work and have completed it, now all I have to do is put together my folder. Below are screen shots of the work i did on image manipulation.

Evaluation complete...

I have now completed my evaluation (to the right is a screen shot of it), recreated my front cover the way I wanted although I am having trouble making the main picture less blurry. I have corrected the typo on my contents page and have rearranged my second double page spread so that the page does not fold accross the writing. I have made the pictures in my BK article look like polaroids. The main thing i want to do now is create some pieces of work about how I have manipulated my images and how I decided what font faces to use.

Making changes to work...

I am currently making changes to the first draft of my work so that I can achieve the highest possible mark. Things I need to do are re-create my cover and contents page as i want to make changes to them but had to save them as jpegs due to lack of space on school computer. I want to make my cover title bolder and my main cover image less blurry, I also want to make the band name on the cover in a brighter font to match the colour their name is written in on the article about them, I need to make my barcode smaller and make my list of what is inside the magazine stand out more. I do not want to make any changes to my contents page but their is a spelling error I will have to correct. I want to change some of the font on my BROOTAL KARNAGE article and make the photos around the main image look like polaroid photos. For my article about the band member Matt Catchpole I want to move the text so the page doesn't fold through it. I am still working on my evaluation.

Almost finished first draft of magazine...

I have now almost completed the first draft for my coursework, I have done article and cover analysises, my questionnaire and it's analysis, practise college magazine cover and contents page, and my cover, contents and two double page spreads for my music magazine. I must complete my evaluation over Christmas. To the right and below are my complete first drafts.
